The U.S. government often enforces sanctions by weaponizing the dollar, which not only hurts the economies targeted, but also other economies and their peoples as well. As a result, U.S. weaponization of its currency dominance will eventually force others to develop their own payment mechanisms that will undermine the dollar's primacy in the long run.
