Some cities in China are ramping up mass testing efforts, while others have imposed lockdowns as the country battles its latest COVID-19 outbreak. The northeastern province of Jilin is the worst hit, with 144 new cases out of more than 1,300 new local cases reported on Monday. Meanwhile, Beijing has reported five new cases, while Shaanxi reports 60.
