The Russian and Ukrainian delegations will resume talks on Monday via video link, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday.

Peskov said presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky will lead the Russian delegation in the virtual talks.

The representative of the Ukrainian delegation, David Arakhamia, later confirmed that the talks will begin on March 14 at 10:30 a.m. via video link.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Monday that representatives of Kyiv should make every effort to organize a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia.

Russia and Ukraine have held three rounds of face-to-face talks so far, all in Belarus.

The first round was held on February 28, followed by the second round on March 3 and the third round on March 7.

On Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin told French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in a phone call that "a series of talks held between Russian and Ukrainian representatives in the video format in recent days."
