A barrage of Russian missiles hit a large Ukrainian military base near the border with NATO member Poland on Sunday. Kyiv says at least 35 people were killed at the base, while Moscow put the death toll at 180. The airstrike has escalated the conflict in western Ukraine as fighting rages elsewhere.
