Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told his Iranian counterpart on Tuesday that agreement on the revival of the Iranian nuclear deal has entered the home straight.

Lavrov made the remarks at the start of talks in Moscow that were expected to be followed by a news conference.

Iran hopes that Russia will welcome a good, stable and strong nuclear deal, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian told reporters after arriving in Moscow on Tuesday, ISNA reported.
