The talks between Russian and Ukrainian officials are expected to resume on Tuesday, after what is called a "technical pause." Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak tweeted that the pause was for additional work in the working subgroups and clarification of individual definitions. Lead Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said on social media that they have been talking with Ukrainian officials via video link every day, even during the weekend. Advisor to the head of the Ukrainian president's office Oleksii Arestovych said a peace agreement is possible in one to two weeks. But the press secretary for Russian President Vladimir Putin said while ensuring the safety of Ukrainian civilians, the plans of the military operation would be fully implemented as planned. Ukraine said over 4,000 people were evacuated from frontline cities on Monday.
