The Chinese mainland has reported more than 1,800 new local COVID-19 cases. Professor Hu Naijun from the School of Public Policy and Management at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences said that we should be optimistic about COVID-19 since it's becoming milder and we have more effective measures now.
