Marine express service starts between Hong Kong and Shenzhen
01:07

The first batch of eight tonnes of imported international express mail arrived in Shenzhen City, south China's Guangdong Province, from Hong Kong via sea transport on Sunday, marking the official start of a marine express service between the two areas. The mail was shipped to Shenzhen's Yantian Port and then sent to the international express operation center by highway.

The Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border transport is combined with a domestic highway transit. This provides a seamless connection between the shipping terminal and the supervision center of express mail at Shenzhen Customs. The shipping capacity is thus organically integrated with the rapid customs clearance capability of the supervision center, providing more diversified logistics customs clearance channels for enterprises to transport international express mail.
