Education, healthcare improvements benefit Xinjiang residents

Authorities in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region said on Thursday that poverty eradication projects have improved the quality of life of the people there. Residents say new houses and roads have been built under the projects which have also created new jobs.
