Honduran judge authorizes former president's extradition to U.S.

A Honduran judge has authorized the extradition of former President Juan Orlando Hernandez to the U.S. to stand trial on drug trafficking and weapon charges, Reuters has reported.
Hernandez, who was arrested mid-February this year following the U.S. extradition request, has three days to appeal the judge's decision, according to a judicial spokesperson.
