Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno on Thursday revised the death toll caused by the earthquake. The number of deaths was corrected from 4 to 1.
More than 180 people in 12 prefectures were injured by the earthquake as of 4:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, according to Kyodo News Agency.
