Australian Foreign Ministry on Friday announced sanctions against 11 additional Russian banks and government entities, including the Russian National Wealth Fund and the Russian Ministry of Finance. With the recent inclusion of the Central Bank of Russia, Australia has now targeted all Russian government entities responsible for issuing and managing Russia's sovereign debt, the statement added.
Japan said on the same day that it will impose sanctions on 15 Russian individuals and nine organizations, including defense officials and state-owned arms exporter Rosoboronexport, according to Reuters.
