China will adhere to its "dynamic zero-COVID" policy to contain its current outbreak, Wang Hesheng, vice minister of the National Health Commission and administrator of the National Disease Control and Prevention Administration, said at a press conference on Friday. The announcement came after recent outbreaks around the country. The State Council Information Office said China will strictly implement a policy of early detection, reporting, quarantine and treatment to respond swiftly to clusters of infections.
