A cold wave swept across many parts of China, causing temperatures to plummet and disrupting traffic in the affected regions. Most districts in China's capital Beijing saw snow on Thursday, with the northernmost district of Yanqing reporting the heaviest snowfall. Northeast China's Liaoning Province had both rain and snow on Friday. Although causing some trouble with local traffic, the snowfall is good news for local farmers.
