The European Commission on Friday transferred another 300 million euros in emergency Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) to Ukraine, Valdis Dombrovskis, executive vice president of the European Commission, tweeted on Friday.

"For first time ever, the EU will finance purchase and delivery of weapons to a country under attack," Dombrovskis said, adding that the EU will continue to provide political, financial, and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
