The world's biggest free trade deal, the 15-country Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership or RCEP, has just gone into effect in Malaysia. What opportunities will the RCEP bring to Malaysia's economy, especially in the stress caused by the pandemic? CGTN's Global Watch spoke to foreign affairs analyst Kazi Mahmood who said that by some estimates Malaysia is set to be the largest beneficiary of RCEP.
