Peter Maurer, president of the International Committee of the Red Cross, has traveled to Ukraine to assess the humanitarian situation in the country. In an online interview with CGTN reporter Meng Qingsheng, he called for greater humanitarian access, and urged greater protection of civilians to alleviate the growing suffering.
