Russia canceled a UN Security Council vote on a "humanitarian" resolution on Ukraine scheduled for Friday due to a lack of support from its closest allies, diplomats said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Thursday that he held a telephone meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss France's support for Ukraine.

The European Space Agency said Thursday that the situation in Ukraine and sanctions against Moscow had forced it to cease cooperation with Russia and look for another way to launch its rover to Mars, as well as four other missions using Russian rockets.
