The president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Peter Maurer, has traveled to Ukraine to assess the humanitarian situation in the country. In an online interview with CGTN reporter Meng Qingsheng, he called for greater humanitarian access and urged better protection of civilians.
