Tajikistan has lifted COVID-19 restrictions previously imposed at the time of entry and staying in the country, according to a statement by its foreign ministry on Friday.

Repeated testing at checkpoints of the state border was canceled for people with "negative" results of virological testing within 72 hours.

The mandatory requirement of wearing protective masks in public places was also abolished.
