At least four people were killed and dozens more are believed missing after a ferry capsized in the Shitalakkhya River in Narayanganj on the outskirts of the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka on Sunday afternoon, according to a local police official.

Police inspector Aslam Mia said that the ferry was believed to be carrying more than 60 people, while 22 people had safely swum ashore after the accident.
