The first units of the Patriot air defense system have started arriving in Slovakia, and deployment will continue in the coming days, Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad said via Facebook on Sunday, according to Reuters.
The systems will be operated by German and Dutch troops and will initially be deployed at Sliac airport in central Slovakia.
