Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Sunday reaffirmed the country's support for reducing escalation, protecting civilians and seeking political solution to the crisis.

The stance was made clear during a meeting with Special Envoy of the Ukrainian President Rustem Umerov, according to a tweet from the Saudi Foreign Ministry.
