As the Russian-Ukraine conflict continues, parts of Ukraine are facing food shortages. For example, in the Zakarpattia Oblast of western Ukraine, goods like flour and canned food are out of stock. The local government said it's due to panic buying, a large influx of displaced Ukrainians, and the need to maintain supply to those fighting on the frontline. Before the conflict began, Ukraine was a leading grain exporter, with 70 percent of its production sent to other countries.
