Today marks World Sleep Day. It is organized by the World Sleep Day Committee of the World Sleep Society and aims to lessen the burden of sleep problems on society through better prevention and management of sleep disorders. You may have heard or seen ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) content before. ASMR appears to activate regions of the brain associated with calming, sleep-inducing hormones like dopamine and oxytocin. This kind of video is very popular with audiences worldwide. CGTN talked with ASMR vlogger MTkoala, who shared her insights on the emerging career of ASMR "sleeper."
