Foreign ministers pledge to deepen cooperation during Wang Yi's visit to Islamabad

China's foreign minister said he wants to build partnerships for unity, justice and development with the Islamic world. Wang Yi is in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad for a meeting of foreign ministers of members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

During a joint press conference following the meeting, Wang's Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi hailed the strength of China-Pakistan relations. He called the countries "all-weather strategic partners", saying the ties were never stronger. Both ministers agreed to increase cooperation in various fields, including agriculture, trade and information technology.
