The Ukrainian people are "enduring a living hell" and continuing the fighting in Ukraine is "morally unacceptable, politically indefensible and militarily nonsensical," UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said during a media briefing on Tuesday over the situation in Ukraine.

It's time to stop the fighting now and give peace a chance, the UN chief told reporters.
