Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview on Monday that "formats of compromises in Ukraine-Russia negotiations will be decided on an all-Ukrainian referendum," according to Ukrainian media Ukrinform.
He said that "security guarantees and the status of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the Crimea may be put to a vote."
Zelenskyy said he was ready to discuss the topic of Crimea and Donbas with Russian President Vladimir Putin at their first meeting, but he thought there will be no decision on it, Russian news agency RIA reported.
The report also said Zelenskyy called the issues of Crimea and Donbas difficult and made it a condition for their resolution that Ukraine receive security guarantees.
