At least 11 migrant workers were killed after a fire broke out at an iron and plastic scrap warehouse in Hyderabad City Tuesday, local media reported.
The fire broke out around 4 a.m. when about 13 workers were asleep on the upper floor of the warehouse, Hindustan Times newspaper reported, citing a police officer.
Preliminary investigation showed that the fire might have been caused due to a short circuit, according to the report.
