The Russian Defense Ministry has claimed that an investment fund led by Hunter Biden is involved in financing biological laboratories in Ukraine, TASS has reported.

The Russian Ministry of Defense presented an analysis of the documents, which it said demonstrate clear proof of U.S. involvement in Ukrainian biological projects, Russian Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops head Igor Kirillov announced Thursday.

He said the people who funded the activities have close ties to the current leaders of the United States, especially the Rosemont Seneca Partners, an investment fund led by Hunter Biden, son of U.S. President Joe Biden.

The fund is also closely linked to U.S. military contractors, including Metabiota and Black and Veach, two companies that provide equipment to the U.S. Department of Defense in biological laboratories around the world.

"The funding of the military biological operation allowed the U.S. and its allies to transport at least 16,000 biological samples beyond the Ukrainian territory," he said, adding that the scale of the relocation operation suggests a search for the most dangerous biological agent for this particular region.

Within the framework of the UP-8 project, blood tests were taken from 4,000 servicemen in Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Kyiv for antibodies for hantaviruses. According to Kirillov, another 400 more were tested for the Congo-Crimean fever virus.

There has been no comment from the U.S. regarding the analysis released by Russia.
