Yuanwang-5, China's third-generation space observation ship, left the dock of the China Satellite Maritime Tracking and Control Department in east China's Jiangsu Province for its first maritime measurement and control mission.

Earlier, Yuanwang-5 completed a 50-day technical transformation and upgrading that has greatly improved navigation power, navigation safety performance, and the reliability and operability of special equipment.
