Somalian government officials say at least 48 people have been killed and 108 others wounded in twin suicide attacks. The blasts occurred in the city of Beledweyn on Wednesday. Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility, saying they were targeting politicians ahead of the elections. Earlier on Wednesday, Al-Shabaab also claimed responsibility for killing eight people at Mogadishu's Halane military camp.
