China's leading new-energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer BYD has been investing in the electric car industry in Indonesia since 2018 and plans to expand even more in the coming years, which will further advance Indonesia's move towards becoming a net-zero-emissions country. Now, a total of 30 BYD electric buses are officially in operation across Jakarta.
