Ethiopia's government has declared an immediate, unilateral truce in its conflict with Tigrayan forces to allow aid into the northern region. The government said it hopes the truce will improve the humanitarian situation and pave the way for a resolution of the conflict. But the Tigrayan forces didn't respond to the government's announcement.
