It has been one month since Russia launched its "special military operation" in Ukraine. Heavy fighting rages in major Ukrainian cities, including the capital, Kyiv. The mayor of Kyiv reports one person was killed and two seriously wounded after shells hit a shopping center's parking lot on Wednesday. Russia accuses Ukraine of using residents as a human shield and deploying heavy weapons between residential buildings. As the conflict escalates, Ukraine and Russia have agreed on nine humanitarian corridors for civilians to flee the fighting.
