The main line of the highway stretches 120.6 kilometers and will connect Guizhou with the Yangtze River Delta region, one of China's most economically active regions. /CFP

With a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour, the highway is also expected to reduce the travel time from Guiyang, provincial capital of Guizhou, to Huangping County to around 1.2 hours. /CFP
