Russia's lead negotiator, Vladimir Medinsky, has said talks with Ukraine are continuing.

The Russian position on Crimea and Donbas is unchanged, said Medinsky, adding that Ukraine has stated willingness to meet core Russian demands.

If Ukraine upholds its promises, the threat of the emergence of a NATO stronghold in Ukraine is removed, said Medinsky.
