Local authorities in COVID-19 affected regions in China are ensuring abundant supplies of daily necessities for residents placed under quarantine, following the recent resurgence of COVID-19 infections. 

The Chinese mainland recorded 1,839 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday with 1,803 linked to local transmissions and 36 from overseas, according to data from the National Health Commission on March 30.
