Russia opposes U.S., NATO military presence near Afghanistan

Russia considers the presence of any United States or NATO military infrastructure in countries bordering Afghanistan to be unacceptable, the TASS news agency cited Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov as saying on Thursday.
