Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with senior officials from Indonesia, Iran and Tajikistan in east China's Anhui Province on Friday. In a meeting with his Indonesian counterpart, Wang called for closer economic ties between the two nations and said China-Indonesia cooperation should set an example for the unity of developing nations. Wang also met with Iran's foreign minister and expressed support for Tehran's efforts to defend its national sovereignty, dignity, and legitimate rights. In a meeting with Tajikistan's Minister of Justice, Wang said China is willing to work on joint, high-quality Belt and Road projects and help advance the industrialization of Tajikistan.
