Official posters for this year's Asian Games in the Chinese city of Hangzhou were released on Friday.
The 19th edition of the games in the capital of east China's Zhejiang Province will take place from September 10 to 25, followed by the fourth Para Asian Games from October 9 to 15.
The posters, themed "history and humanity," "AI and technology," "sport and competition," and "happy city," were chosen from 1,789 designs submitted from around the world. Organizers selected the entries that best depict the spirit of the Asian Games and the host city.
The visual illustrations use lines to demonstrate connectivity and the beauty of Hangzhou.

Meanwhile, all 56 completed venues for Hangzhou 2022 and the Asian Para Games passed inspection on Thursday, with almost half a year to go before the games kick-off.
Yangshan Sports Climbing Center, located in Keqiao District, Shaoxing, was the last venue to be finished.
In addition, 31 training venues and five Asian Games villages are ready for service, with access for people with disabilities upgraded.
Most of the venues, including 12 newly built and 44 renovated and temporary facilities, will open to the public for use after the games.
The Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (HAGOC) vows to deliver a green, smart, economical and ethical Asian Games.
Five other cities in Zhejiang Province – Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Shaoxing and Jinhua – will co-host the event.
It will be the third Asian Games to be hosted in China, after Beijing 1990 and Guangzhou 2010.
