Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan told his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy by phone on Thursday that Russian-Ukrainian peace talks in Istanbul this week had given "meaningful impetus" to efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine, Erdogan's office said.
