China's Shenzhou-13 crew are preparing for their return to Earth, which is planned for mid-April. The news follows Tianzhou-2's recent separation from China's space station. On October 16, 2021, the Shenzhou-13 mission sent three taikonauts to the space station for a six month stay, the longest duration in the history of China's manned space program.

During their stay, the team partook in a number of projects and experiments along with live science lectures for schoolchildren. Their main focus now is to get ready for their trip back to Earth.
