The foreign ministers of China and Thailand have held talks in East China's Anhui Province. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called for more cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and more bilateral trade. Thai Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai said Thailand would take part in the Global Development Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping. They also discussed multilateralism and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, calling for continued peace talks.
