The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) told Dmitry Rogozin, director general of Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos that it will continue to work with U.S. federal agencies to promote further cooperation within the International Space Station (ISS).

Rogozin previously said that he had sent letters to NASA, the European and Canadian space agencies regarding lifting sanctions against Russian Mission Control operator TsNIIMash and Progress Rocket and Space Center.

Rogozin stressed that a complete lifting of sanctions is the only way to resume the International Space Station joint program and cooperation between partners.
