CGTN on the scene: Ukrainian refugees make a living in Zakarpattia Oblast

Since the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, millions of Ukrainians have fled their home and lost steady incomes. The Ukrainian government has rolled out a new initiative that all employers offering jobs to displaced will receive a subsidy of about 6,500 hryvnia (about $220) within two months. A pharmacy in Ukraine's Zakarpattia Oblast decided to hire two to help those displaced after the conflict started. Yulia and Polina are lucky to be employed.
