China's national diving team has held internal tests in its build-up for the upcoming 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

The men's 10m platform featured the closest competition among the overall internal test, with Tokyo Olympics champion Quan Hongchan missing out due to injuries.

Yang Hao and Lian Junjie, also partners in the pairs events, had a very close contest. Yang got 94.50 points for his perfect execution in dive 407B, while Lian scored an outstanding 100.80 points in 207B, a dive he had practiced for just 40 days.  

After five dives, Lian was 2.55 points behind Yang. Both of them chose 109C as their last dive, and Yang finally prevailed with a total of 546.40 points.
