Chinese provinces send emergency supplies to Shanghai

Three Chinese provinces have dispatched batches of daily necessities to Shanghai to help relieve its supply shortages and curb the resurgence of COVID-19. A cargo train carrying 16 containers of vegetables, eggs and edible oil departed from Yancheng City, east China's Jiangsu Province. More than 40 people volunteered to pick and load 14 tons of seasonal vegetables donated by a local farmer in Fuzhou City, east China's Jiangxi Province. Three carriages filled with fruits and vegetables dispatched from Tianshui City, northwest China's Gansu Province, are headed to Shanghai. The China Railway Lanzhou Bureau Group is making sure the supplies can arrive in Shanghai as soon as possible.
