India's foreign trade volume in fiscal year 2021-2022 (ended March 31) surpassed $1 trillion for the first time, data released on Monday by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry showed.

The country's merchandise exports rose to a record $418 billion in FY22, according to the ministry, and the numbers were $291.8 billion in FY21 and 313.4 billion in FY22.
