Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Monday congratulated Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban after his party won the parliamentary elections.
After winning Sunday's elections, Orban's ruling Fidesz-KDNP coalition has secured a fourth term in office.
In his congratulatory message, Li said China and Hungary enjoy a deep traditional friendship, and the bilateral relations have maintained a high level of development in recent years.
He added that China stands ready to work with Hungary to maintain the momentum of high-level exchanges, enhance mutual strategic trust and boost pragmatic cooperation in various fields to take the China-Hungary comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level.
